Allowed domains Displaying AlcmeonChat Information on queue position and waiting time

From the AlcmeonChat account management page, it is possible to activate certain display options.

Allowed domains

By default, the AlcmeonChat widget will appear on all websites where the JavaScript code has been integrated. For security reasons, you can therefore define the list of domains authorized to display the widget.

You can therefore specify different domains by copying the URLs of the sites on which to display the widget and removing the https:// at the front and the / at the end if it is present.

Example: if your website address is https://www.alcmeon.ai/ , you would enter www.alcmeon.ai

Displaying AlcmeonChat

As soon as an AlcmeonChat account is created and the Javascript code is integrated into your site's pages, it appears automatically.

One option allows you to manually disable the AlcmeonChat widget from your site's pages.

A second option allows you to trigger the display of the AlcmeonChat widget only during your working hours.

Notes :

  • The option to display the widget during business hours can only be enabled if the first option is also enabled.
  • If AlcmeonChat is configured to appear only during your business hours, and a user visits your site at the start of those hours, they will need to refresh the page or navigate to another page on the site to access AlcmeonChat. Conversely, at the end of business hours, the widget will remain visible on pages already open. We therefore recommend that you include a message in your scripts for users contacting you outside of your business hours.
  • The triggers will not be launched outside of business hours.

 

Information on queue position and waiting time

You have the option to display to your users an estimate of their waiting time and their position in the queue.

This estimate is based on an algorithm that takes into account the number of connected advisors and the average time to first respond to a message.

 

 

Note: The waiting time displayed to the user corresponds to a range: less than 5', less than 10', less than 15', or more than 15'. It should be noted that this information may take a few seconds to appear from the moment the user's message is transferred to an advisor.
