Create a scenario
To create a new bot scenario, navigate to your list of bot scenarios and click the “ New scenario ” button.
In the next step, you will:
- Choose the channel on which you want to build this scenario.
- Give your scenario a name.
- Select a scenario template that interests you or opt to create your own from an empty scenario.

🦊 Tip: Add the date you are publishing or plan to publish your scenario to its name. You can always change a scenario's name later.
By default, your scenario is created with an “Inactive” status. Don't forget to publish it when it's ready!
Create a scenario from a template
When you use a template, your scenario comes with a pre-built diagram containing several steps. You can find a complete description of our bot editor and its capabilities in the next chapter.
Quick Start Guide for Templates
- Begin by reading the yellow sticky "Notes" included in the diagram. These provide initial instructions on often mandatory changes or additional settings required before you can publish your bot.
- Customize the text content by clicking on the "pencil" icons available within each step.
- For "Message with menu" steps, feel free to remove, add, or reorder options by dragging and dropping them as needed.
- Remember to save your scenario frequently using the button located at the top right of the editor.
- When you're ready, click the "Published" button and then "Save." Your bot will instantly go live and be available for your customers!
🦊 Tip: If this is your first bot scenario on a particular channel, we highly recommend creating it on a dedicated test account first. Once you are satisfied with it, you can then duplicate it to your production account.
